Alpaca came from using the Dragonfly SaaS Platform, rather than try to demonstrate all its features it was easier to make a tool and run this with a real worl business to show how this impacted their users. Over time, this has become a term we call "ECRM" meaning Engagement and Customer Retention Management. Many of the products a decade ago were simple marketing tools, nothing very focussed on the user like we do now. In fact, we now see a few more products desperately trying to catch up as they see how we blew away the competition

What is ECRM?

To be honest, an invention of mixing CRM (Customer Retention Managament) with "Engagement" and like many things on the web the 'E' often gets linked to "Electronic", but this is not 1990's nor a Microsoft product. Alpaca integrates to your data from your system or back office, and it builds profiles and optimal timings with the most relevant content. Simple. You get to see the results in easy to follow graphs and reports.
